Elite Dangerous releases Beyond Chapter Two update
Elite Dangerous’ free update, Beyond: Chapter Two, is live on PC and consoles starting today.
With this next chapter, the newest content additions to Elite Dangerous continue to tell the story of the resurgent war between Humanity and the Thargoid. If you need to catch up on Beyond Chapter One, you can. This update marks the second chapter of Season Three of ED content, with last season marking the opening salvos of the aforementioned war.
Other updates aside from new basic story-related content include new wing missions for various activities, as well as lots of new weapons like new versions of Shard Cannons and Plasma Launchers. The update also includes a heaping helping of bug fixes for various issues across all versions of Elite Dangerous. Although players shouldn’t expect any huge new story addons until later in the year, Chapter Two is mostly about new missions, equipment upgrades, and adjusting existing systems.
